Spring Equinox 2009

Happy Spring to all of you!
As many of you may know, Spring is the most natural time of year to energize any aspects of ourselves that we wish to bring forth, express and integrate into our being. Springtime has been celebrated as a time of spiritual rebirthing for thousands of years. It is the time to awaken, renew & initiate. This year the actual vernal equinox happens as the Sun moves into the sign of Aries at 4:44am pacific time on Friday, March 20th.
This day is perfect for setting intentions regarding new growth in yourreality. Set some time aside on this day to get clear as to what your ambitions and goals are this year and establish the intention to manifest them. Create a simple personalized ceremony around your intentions in order to further energize them. A simple ceremony can involve going out into nature, taking some time to connect with energies, circumstances and situations that seem to now want to be released, thus creating new space in your life for new growth. Use your intention to release those energies with your exhales and rejuvenate/bring in fresh new energies into your being with your inhales (Inhaling the fresh energies of the natural environment around you will also help you to align with the cycles of nature) I personally enjoy using two small candles. One of them represents the old I am releasing and the other represents the new I am bringing in. Simple intend to put the energies you are releasing into the releasing candle and intent to put the energies of your new ambitions into the renewal candle.
Light each candle and as they burn down, intend that the releasing candle releases and the renewal candle energizes your ambitions. Focusing your attention on your intention is the key. When the candles are burned down (I like to use the ‘mini’ candles you can get at most metaphysical shops) the ceremonial work is complete. Now just go on with your day knowing that you just set new magical energies in motion and that those energies will manifest in perfect divine order and timing for you. All you have to do is to trust the universe and be open to receive the blessings that come your way. …
