Lake Powell Trip

As I write this I am just returning from an Amazing week of Hiking, Camping & Boating in Lake Powell & surrounding areas. My adventure included visits to the famous Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lees Ferry, the North rim of the Grand Canyon and a drive through Navajo land.  The whole trip was such a great adventure & very spiritually rejuvenating. I’m left with a renewed awareness of the value of taking time out for recreation and relaxation in our lives.

When we can quite the analytical mind, letting go of all of its concerns & dramas,  we can then open up tolake powell experiencing a deeper level of peace, tranquility, clarity & renewed connection with our own spirits.  This kind of spiritual centeredness is key to connecting with your inner being which in turn connects you to your own inner knowings, personal truths & intuitions.

Although it does pose a challenge for the ego mind who likes to be busy busy busy, I suggest that each of you create some space in your lives to spend a little bit of

R & R time in nature this summer. A few hours each week would work great. Go to the beach, go to the park, take a walk in the woods, hike, camp, whatever appeals to you. Whatever you choose, approach your time in nature in the spirit of meditative, restorative, relaxation. This means that you are quieting the mind and just being present in your inner being, enjoying the now for all the wonder it has to offer you. Doing so will have you feeling connected to your spirit, paving the way for intuitive inspiration to come in and awaken renewed enthusiasm regarding your life’s path and purpose. Keeping a journal of your intuitive awareness’s is a great way to further stimulate your intuition and anchor your awareness’s into the physical realm, facilitating the process of manifestation.

In the photo below you can see the houseboat we rented docked on the shore in the foreground. Its so cool to be able to dock on shore almost anywhere on the lake and hike, camp, swim, whatever… We stayed docked here for the night and slept on the top deck in the open air, under the stars. very exhilerating to say the least!
